"A Morning Sky"

Inspired by patterns and tracks left in the snow. I photograph snow and ice relentlessly, I then study the pictures I’ve collected, creating many pattern drawings relating to my findings. Finally I contemplate over what comes from my interest, its at this point I choose the colours I feel speak to me.

I then get super messy applying mixtures of different velocity paint directly on the canvas. When dry I then tend to add more layers, and thus repeat the process.
